Congratulations to the Lady Arrows Track Team on winning their third straight North State Championship!

The Clinton Chamber of Commerce honored outstanding educators and students at its annual Education Appreciation and Business After Hours event at the Quisenberry Library. Among the honorees were STAR Student Javarcia Ivory, STAR Teacher Alix Williams, National Merit Finalist Daniel Conway and National Achievement Finalists Javarcia Ivory, Wynton Sims, Nia Moore and Anthony Scales. Presenting gifts is Chamber of Commerce Director T.J. McSparrin.

Way to Go!
The Automotive Ford AAA team consisting of James Criss and Bailey Howard finished 1st place in the Ford AAA hands-on competition at the MS Trademart. Both students received $25,500 in scholarships and a trip in June to Dearborn, Michigan to compete in the national competition.

 WAPT Teacher of the Week
 Mr. Fehr was named WAPT’s Teacher of the Week and was surprised one morning in a presentation in the Attache’ room. He was presented with a $50 gift card to the Renaissance and a $50 gift card to the face and body center.

State DECA Competition Winners

Congratulations to DECA State Winners:  Jade Stolley 1st place, Mallorie Wilson 1st Place, Mandy Fendlason 1st Place, Emily Mosley 2nd Place and Mackenzie Thomas 3rd Place. All winners are eligible to go to Orlando for the  International Competition!! Way to go Arrows!!!

Grand Champions!
Clinton High School’s Attaché show choir captured top honors of Grand Champion over the weekend at the South Central Classic show choir competition in Homewood, Alabama. Attaché  also won top awards for best vocals, best choreography, best overall effect, and best band. Clinton Attaché junior Olivia Smith won the female solo competition from among 70 soloists .

Automotive competition
Members of the Career Complex's Skills USA competed in district competition at Co-Lin Community College in Wesson. All students competing placed:

Emily Kraemer - Job Interview Skills (Info Tech) - 1st Place
James Criss - (Automotive) Service Skills - 3rd Place

Congratulations to the CHS Science and Math team on winning third place at the Mississippi College Science and Math Tournament! Forty-five schools competed. The team is coached by Renee Smith and Allen Marett.
