A resident of Clinton, Barbie Ferguson received her BS in Business Education from Delta State University and received her Masters in Education from Mississippi State University in Vocational Studies. She has been a National Board Certified Teacher for the past twelve years and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Clinton Chamber of Commerce.
